From August 23-September 1, join NLC for our Keeping Families Close campaign, in support of Ronald McDonald House NL (RMHC) and the Red Shoe Crew Walk for Families.
Every day, families from across our province face the reality of a sick or injured child. RMHC is a home away from home for families needing to stay close to their loved one while they are receiving ongoing care at the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre. Last year alone, RMHC provided family centered programs and services to 242 local families in need. In addition to having a comfortable place to stay, families have access to laundry facilities, a fully stocked pantry, home-cooked meals, an entertainment room, and an outdoor family-time park.
Together we can help keep families close to medical care and resources when they need it most and provide them with the greatest support they can receive – each other. Donations made during the campaign will be matched by NLC up to $15,000.

NLC’s Breakfast Blitz from March 22-30 was a great success. With the help of NLC customers, supplier partners and our dedicated staff, $64,077 was raised in support of Kids Eat Smart Foundation NL.
Together, through this campaign, we have helped ensure that school age children throughout our province have access to a healthy breakfast at no cost, no matter the reason.
From December 7-18, 2023, NLC came together with its customers and suppliers in support of the Community Food Sharing Association and its member food banks for the 12 Days of Giving Campaign.
The campaign raised $77,905. In addition, NLC staff collected over 1,000 lbs. of food. Thanks to the generosity of the community, holiday hampers were provided to thousands of families and individuals in need from across the province.
