Kevin recently retired from his role as the Chief Financial Officer for Irving Oil, a private company that refines, transports and markets energy in Eastern Canada, New England and Internationally. Prior to joining Irving Oil, Kevin was a senior partner with Deloitte. Kevin is President of KDD Consulting Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in finance, primarily in business advisory, financial reporting, acquisitions, and capital market transaction services across a wide range of entities, including local and multi-national engagements in the energy and resources, aerospace, real estate, mining and communication industries in both the public and private sectors.

Mr. Dumaresque is currently Chair of the advisory board of a local family-owned private company, a board member of Provident10, and a board member and committee Chair (finance, risk and audit) of the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council, and is Chair of the Battle Harbour Historic Trust. He has also served as President of the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants and as a board member of the Newfoundland Institute of Chartered Accountants.

A fellow of the institute Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (FCPA), Mr. Dumaresque holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Memorial University. He also holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Mr. Dumaresque was appointed to NLC’s Board of Directors on September 9, 2021 and serves on NLC’s Audit Committee.
