Lynn Zurel is a CPA, CA and holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. As a CA, Ms. Zurel worked in public practice, primarily with Ernst & Young, and is currently employed as the Chief Financial Officer of Stonebridge Capital Inc.

Ms. Zurel serves on the Muskrat Falls Oversight Committee for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and is a Commissioner with the St. John’s Transportation Commission. She has had the privilege of serving, and continues to serve, in leadership roles on the boards of a wide variety of national, provincial and local not-for-profit organizations.

Ms. Zurel has also served on a variety of panels ranging from the Panel to Review the Audit Function for the City of St. John’s to serving as a panelist on numerous occasions focusing on women in business and philanthropy.

Ms. Zurel was appointed to NLC’s Board of Directors on September 9, 2021 and serves on NLC’s Governance and Human Resources Committee and Regulatory Committee. Lynn became the Vice Chairperson of the board in August 2023.
